I finished designing my rollcage, and made a quick illustration to get a consept of the visual impact.. Looks fine.
My brother, who works as a stainless/Alu welder, supplied me with 8 pcs. of 90° seemless weld bends.. SWEEET.. as those are a dog to purchase.. So as of now im just waiting for the actual tubes..

The pistons to fit.. A Ford Ranger item, made from an Hypereutect cast så running a tight clearence should be possible. weight 490grams and with a thick crown
The jugs.. Originally they are cylinders from a Deutz 912 engine. I have turned them down in lenght on a lathe, and "adjusted" them with a grinder in various locations to fit the wbx case.
ID100mm and looots of cooling fins..

Case for the 2.2 turbo project

Its originally an 1.9L WBX engine, with a 69mm stroke crank. I have milled down the waterjackets and made provisions for offset headstuds so that a T1 cylinderhead can be mounted (when welded and redrilled for T4 style bolt pattern)
Plunge cut for cylinders OD106mm
The Rear end of the thing.. Notice the "smaller than usual for a buggy" rear BF-G tyres.. I not a big fan of the ongoing trend with flared fenders and barrel wheels.
My Buggy..
To make a long story short, i started this buggy some 4 years back.
Shouldhave, wouldhave bla. bla bla

Well, now it is finally nearing completion and the only things left is chopping of the windscreen, fabbing a rollcage and stuffing it with my other project, the 2.2 turbo aircooled WBX engine.
